Love it or hate it! At first I didn't care much for the marquise cut in a diamond. Then the more I saw it, the more it looked nice. I then saw this gorgeous .65 marquise cut diamond stone, with the wider 6mm or so 14k yellow gold band, and I LOVED it. It looks so much nicer with the wider band. It doesn't look so long and sharp at the edges. So I bought this band and because it was SO wide, it was just too tight on and it wasn't comfortable. So now I'm hoping someone else can wear it and enjoy it, even if I can't. Thanks for reading this and if you DO like the marquise shape, check out my beautiful rings at www.debsnet.us or Deb's New England Treasures website.

There are some things in life that have definitely improved as time has progressed. There are also some things that are more appreciated with the newer versions. Antique vintage diamond jewelry is one of those things that becomes appreciated more as time goes by. This is definitely one of those bridal sets! This is such a perfect example of a craft that has long since disappeared. This ring set is 60-70 years old and looks more beautiful than when it was made. I appreciate the craftsmanship of antique and vintage jewelry. This is one of those sets that gets more beautiful every time I look at it. I reminder me a little bit of the set my grandmother had. The quality and cut of these stones isn't really produced anymore. Such a shame isn't it?!

This blogging this is kinda sweet. I get to vent more or less and not really care if anyone reads about it or not. I was laid off in December 2008 from my 'dream' job and I was greatly disappointed. However, I have been lucky enough previously to have purchased a great collection of diamond jewelry for my own enjoyment. The challenges and roadblocks ahead don't warrant wearing all of this finery, so I will be selling off what I can. If you want beautiful jewelry at way less than retail prices, check out my collection on line. If you're looking for something specific, shoot me an email at nhnonna@debsnewenglandtreasures.com. I've got a LOT more items that are not listed. I'm pretty flexible about paying on time also. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you can visit again and look at my items. It's been a blast purchasing all of them and now that I've got too much time on my hands, I'd rather sell than buy!

I have become obsessed with the Leo Diamond it seems. I started out buying a .47 ct solitaire, then I upgraded to a .95 3 stone and now I've upgraded to a 1.00 princess cut. It is the most fascinating and BEAUTIFUL stone I have ever had the pleasure to wear. I was fascinated by the moissanite stones as well. They are the closest I have seen in sparkle and shine to the Leo diamonds. I've got a few Leo diamonds up for auction; please be sure to check them out. The prices are reasonable and the rewards of owning one are priceless!

Ten plus years ago, I discovered the Ebay phenomenon. I was just amazed that literally millions of people could be directed to buy things in one place. It was like a world-wide yard sale that you could visit from your own computer in your own home. It was just a wonder. Then as Ebay got you 'hooked' they started making changes and making it at this time more important for the buyer to be protected, rather than those LOYAL sellers who hung in thru all the changes and turmoil that Ebay had created by itself. Well I developed a passion for beautiful jewelry. I developed an obsession for good quality diamond jewelry. I have purchased a lot of beautiful items, had good luck with the sellers I purchased from, and then I was able to turn these items around when I wanted to. My selling prices are not just picked out of the air. They are based on how much I paid for the item and how much I have invested in it. I am now trying to get my Auctiva Commerce store going to escape from Ebay once and for all. I'm not sure if anyone will ever read this, but if anyone does....I have one of those 'burning' questions to ask. Can anyone tell me what THEY do with burned candle containers? I have been saving these glass candle containers for quite some time now. I just hate to throw them away. I have used them for collecting beach sand, beach shells, buttons and coins. Does anyone know if there is an organization that takes these??? Thank you for stopping by.
